Introducing the #FitGalDailyDigest

I had originally started doing this for a few friends on Facebook (Ladies! This post is for you!!!)...but it kind of became a really really fun thing for me to do, so I'll continue on with it!

When I posted Part 1 of Finding Your Weightloss Numbers, a few friends asked about a sample meal plan. As a Health Coach (and in studies to become a Personal Trainer), I am not qualified to write out a meal plan, that's something that should be left to nutritionists and registered dietitians.

But what I can do is show you what I eat on a day to day basis to give you an idea what kind of fuel goes into my body.

It's true, I love food. Food was an integral part of growing up and especially early adulthood. My "I just want to decorate cakes" period was probably what lead to a fair bit of the weight gain I saw in my early twenties, but I chalk that up to a learning experience. I practice IIFYM (if it fits your macros) now and it keeps me in check!

I just follow my macronutrient goal and make what I want to eat fit in there. Does that sometimes mean that dinner is just a piece of chicken and some pickles? Yeah. But ask me if the cupcake I had a lunch was worth it. (It was.)

So that should give you an idea of what I eat on a regular basis.
