Hi! I'm Jillian.

I have a confession to make... I am a fitness junkie. I love working out, I love making healthy food, I love discussing "health-strategies" with friends and family, and I love that I've been able to transform my body through what I eat and what I do with my body.

Why did I create this site?
Getting to a fit and healthy place in a my life was a 2-3 year journey with a couple of misinformed steps along the way. I was an information sponge, I took everything I read on the internet as gospel and believed it. 

I managed to drop about 20 lbs through calorie restriction, but I was altering my body through diet alone. It is certainly possible to do this healthily, but it is not what I would recommend. 

I’m working to learn exactly how the human body works, how it responds to diet and exercise, so I know how to best support myself and others in moving toward their goals. I want to be able to answer questions that people have and be able to back my answer up with concrete evidence, not anecdotal. 

In short, I made this site for you. I want to provide you with information, I want to be able to help you accomplish what you want to accomplish. This site is your site. If you have questions, please send them my way and I will get you your answer. If I can’t get the answer, I’ll do my utmost to connect you with someone you can.
